It was built by Fermín Antonio Mundaca y Marecheaga for a beautiful "Trigueña" (a young woman of mixed race) he fell in love with.

This character is surrounded by many legends, but basically, he was a pirate and slave trader.

It is located on the road to Garrafón, just 4 km south of the town, and you can walk through its pleasant shaded passages, arches, gardens, and wells while enjoying the legends that surround this place.

Currently, you can see some walls, rusty cannons, a partially rebuilt house, and a beautiful pond. An impressive stone arch at the entrance is one of the most striking elements of the hacienda.
