This is a project made by the communities of Ahuata and Coyopol and is part of the “Fog Circuit”.

There are tours where you can learn about all the different types of bamboo, as well as the planting and growing process.

The bamboo forests have a very important place from an ecological point of view, since they prevent erosion and help maintain local biodiversity.

Along the way you will also find coffee crops and colorful anthuriums.

The forest is not only important for the natural beauty but also for the economic benefits. The bamboo is very strong and with proper presevation will last as long as any other "wood" that is why is an excellent material for house, cabins, greenhouses, nurseries and wineries construction. It is also udes for decorative objects, any room can benefit from the natural touch and eco-friendliness of bamboo decor. Bamboo can be used for manufacturing bamboo stick vase, bamboo mirror, bamboo lamp, room dividers, napkin rings, scented candles, wall hangings, etc.
