THE PEARL OF CONCHOS
It is better known as "The Pearl of Conchos."
Este nombre se debe a que se ubica en la ribera del Río Conchos, y es justamente aquí en donde inician las enormes huertas nogaleras que le otorgan el primer lugar nacional de producción de nuez.
This city offers interesting temples, historical buildings, beautiful squares and gardens, as well as a variety of recreational areas and parks. It is also the birthplace of great artists such as David Alfaro Siqueiros and Sebastián.

Plaza Juárez (Main Plaza)
It is the city center and is surrounded by important buildings such as the Santa Rosalía Temple, built in the mid-19th century in Baroque style, the Municipal Presidency dating back to 1890, where attractive murals depicting the city's history can be found. Right across the square is the Public Clock with a complex set of bronze gears.
Plaza Bicentenario (Bicentennial Plaza)
It features a beautiful mural portraying some historical characters and exhibits an old pulley that belonged to the old Flour Mill, the statue of the famous singer Lucha Villa, who hails from this place, the Train Station, and Hidalgo Square, also known as the Lovers' Square.
Camargo House Museum
It is worth a visit, as its six rooms allow you to learn about the history, culture, traditions, and natural beauty that Camargo offers. The exhibition includes fossils, photography and video equipment, medical instruments, clothing, and a room dedicated exclusively to Lucha Villa.
Faro de las Estrellas (Lighthouse of the Stars)
Located at the north entrance of the city, it stands 23 meters high and has an observation deck at its highest point, accessed by a spiral staircase. Besides providing a panoramic view of the city, it holds a special meaning for the people of Camargo, as its light guides the way back for all those who have had to leave.

If you enjoy stargazing at night, there is an astronomical observatory on Cerro de la Mesa, 15 km from Camargo.
