COPPER CANYON

Among the best places to enjoy mountain biking are the Barranca de Batopilas, Barranca del Cobre, Basaseachi and the Creel region.

There is a great variety of routes that go from trails for beginners and for those who want to enjoy contact with nature, to descents into the ravines along dirt roads, these biking trails require higher level of fitness and stamina.

CIUDAD JUÁREZ

In the dunes of Samalayuca you can practice biking though sand. It is done with mountain bikes specially adapted for sand or with mountain bikes, reducing the air pressure in the tires. If it takes place during the full moon period, the desert offers a very special charm. 

The recommended season to practice this sport is from March to November.
