This town is surrounded by peaks with lush forest vegetation.

In addition to other landscapes that include canyons, trails, waterfalls, and thermal waters, making it an ideal place for camping and enjoying nature.

In the town, you can take a pleasant stroll through its cobbled streets and picturesque 19th-century street lamps. In the main square, there's a kiosk that houses a pre-Hispanic monolith.

Across from it is the San Miguel Arcángel Church, dating back to the 16th century, and a series of restaurants where you can savor typical dishes like tamales de ceniza (ash tamales).

Just two kilometers from the town, you'll find El Salto de Chihuahua Park with a waterfall over 50 meters high that flows into a natural pool where you can swim. Nearby is the Las Salinas Spa with crystalline springs, a swimming pool, wading pool, and camping areas.

It is located approximately one hour from Toluca and two hours from Mexico City.
