Located in front of the estuary at the top of Cerro Vigía, on the southern tip of Isla del Rey.

This island has an ancient history and is considered a sacred place according to the Wixarika or Huichol vision, and as such, it is cared for and preserved. For centuries, they have made offerings to the Goddess of the Sea, Aramara.

The first lighthouse was built in the 18th century, and nearby, there is also a church dedicated to the Virgin.

On the island, you can enjoy walks, bird watching, and the peaceful and romantic beaches it offers.
