La Locomotora (Monument)

A monument located in Rosendo G. Castro cultural corridor.

This locomotive was donated by the Los Mochis Sugar Mill, along with two side fountains. This is an important part of the history of Los Mochis, as it played a significant role in the region's economic development.

La Villa de Ahome

The Villa was founded in 1605 by the missionary Father Pérez Ribas.

However, the municipality was established in 1916.
