The climate and conditions in Saltillo and its surroundings are ideal for vineyards.

Especially in Ramos Arizpe, the wines from the area have gained importance, both nationally and internationally.

There is Viñedo Zapa located at the foothills of the Sierra de Zapalinamé. Here, four grape varieties are blended to create artisanal wine.

San Juan de la Vaquería is a small spot 36 km southeast of Saltillo with a rich history. The first ranch founded in this area dates back to the late 16th century, and later it became a large hacienda, of which the grand house in the center of the picturesque town has been preserved. This house is also part of a winery that has gained fame for its excellent Cabernet Sauvignon. Visits can be made to learn more about this extraordinary wine.

In Ramos Arizpe, there are two wineries worth visiting: Paredón and Bodegas Capellanía. Here, you can taste wines such as Malbec, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. If you want to savor the wines and walk among the vineyards, you can visit them.
