It is the largest and oldest tree-lined promenade in the city.

Its popular name is derived from the abundance of watercress that used to grow here. It has a central gazebo and a statue of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla.

In addition to its extensive gardens, it features playgrounds, bike rentals, electric carts, and a train known as "el piojito" (the little louse), which allows you to tour the park.

There are several restaurants and cafes in the vicinity where you can enjoy delicious churros.

Located near the Xalapeño Stadium, southeast of downtown Xalapa.
