Formerly the San Juan de Dios Hospital, dating back to 1855.

This two-level building is constructed in Neoclassical style with pink quarry stone. The first level features a portal with semi-circular arches, while the second level has rectangular windows and balconies.

The design of the building is neoclassical, with a gallery of semi-circular arches supported by Doric pilasters on the front facade. The pink quarry stone facade depicts the coats of arms of the four colonial cities in the state: Córdoba, Orizaba, Veracruz, and Xalapa.

Inside, there are two courtyards with semi-circular arches and smooth shaft columns. One of the courtyards features an embedded fountain.
