It is located right in the heart of the city.

In its southern part, the park incorporated the grounds of the atrium of the former Franciscan convent of Santiago. The northern part integrated what was the Plazuela de San Francisco or Plaza de Abajo, located next to the convent.

It is characterized by its tall, leafy trees and its clear Art Nouveau style reflected in its benches and kiosk. The statue of the goddess Hebes stands out in the center of the beautiful fountain.

It is a pleasant place where both locals and tourists can stroll and rest, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of downtown Querétaro.

Various cultural events are held here, and it is where you can enjoy the incomparable danzón, as several schools come together at this location to practice it.

It is surrounded by some of Querétaro's most emblematic buildings and places.
