This settlement was founded in 1619 by the Franciscans.

Among its attractions are the Cueva del Diablo (Devil's Cave) and the thermal spring "Ojo de Atotonilco," equipped as a resort with water slides, barbecue areas, and playgrounds.

You can also visit the ruins of the Ex Hacienda Salaices, which dates back to the 19th century, as well as an aqueduct from the same period.

As in many other places in Chihuahua, you can savor dried meat.
