The inhabitants of this place are skilled weavers.

The weavers produce wool textiles, sarapes, and jorongos using natural dyes.

Its 18th-century church stands out, preserving a beautiful gilded baroque altarpiece and oil paintings.

You can also visit the Shan-Dany Community Museum, which has four rooms covering the topics of archaeology, the Mexican Revolution, textile production, and the "Danza de la Pluma," a choreographic art that commemorates the conquest.

It opens every day from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00 hrs.
