Located on the banks of the Florido River.

It is an important agricultural and livestock center with a rich history.

It was here where Victoriano Huerta defeated Francisco Villa's "colorados" (red soldiers).

The peaceful main square is flanked by the Municipal Presidency and the Church of the Holy Christ of Burgos, which began construction in 1804.

Other notable buildings include the train station, the Abraham González Market, and the Barrios Restaurant, built in the late 19th century, where you can enjoy a delicious ranch-style steak or beef soup.

You can also visit the Ojo de Dolores and Los Remedios springs located on the outskirts of the town.
