This sanctuary is a place where the faithful come to pray and worship the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Every December 12th, a grand celebration and pilgrimage take place, with all the visitors walking along the road to the sanctuary. Here, a festival with traditional dances, food, and a mass is held.
