The Botanical Garden covers 4.4 hectares along the Sabinal River.
This garden showcases native species from the central region of the state, with a special emphasis on endangered endemic species.
It features over 900 species, of which approximately 850 are endemic to Chiapas. You can observe them along interpretive trails.
Adjacent to it is the Botanical Museum, which exhibits Chiapas woods, including fossil woods.
