The theater is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city.

It has a facade with a traditional semicircular arch topped by a quarry balustrade and a clock in the center.

Like many other buildings in Fresnillo, it is a place full of history, art, culture, and legends.

Its construction began in 1833, and throughout history, it has had various uses. During the Revolution, it was used as a residence, military barracks, fort, and even as a prison. Later, it became a tavern and a casino. After several years of disuse, it was restored in 1986 and regained its original appearance.
