Its construction began in 1705, with the first part completed in 1726. The bell tower was completed a year later.

This temple was built with stone, wood, quarry stone, and wrought iron. From the original construction, the spiral staircase leading to the bell tower, a quarry stone basin from the sacristy, and a hand-carved wooden door have been preserved.

Like the Templo de la Purificación, it only has one tower and is made of stone, quarry stone, wood, and displays beautiful wrought ironwork. The interior exhibits a Mudéjar style.
