It has a Porfirian style and consists of one floor and a ground floor, built of pink quarry and wrought iron. The columns inside are made of cast iron, and the roof is metallic.

It houses a modern shopping center where you can find products made in the state, such as silverware, crafts, typical sweets, and souvenirs, as well as typical restaurants, cafes, and temporary exhibitions by Zacatecan artists.
