A town with strong Nahuatl traditions.
In the surroundings of Comala, it is worth visiting Suchitlán, a town known for its beautiful artisanal objects such as wooden masks, otate furniture, basketry elements, and carved wooden furniture and ornaments, mainly made of mahogany and parota wood.
If you visit this town, you can explore its pleasant porticos and savor "conejo tatemado," one of the typical dishes of the area, as well as visit a coffee processing facility where you must taste the most representative drink of the region.
Another attraction of this town is the Apache Dances, in which locals dance adorned with attractive and colorful feather headdresses to the sound of flutes.
