TOP SIGHTS IN MANZANILLO
Centro Histórico de Manzanillo (Historic Center)
Located just in front of the boardwalk, it is the main square of Manzanillo.
It is the ideal place to take a walk, especially at sunset, and admire the landscapes of this beautiful port.
Iguanario Archundia
This project emerged over 40 years ago as a family initiative. The concept was created by Mr. Ramón Medina Archundia, who was concerned about the care and preservation of iguanas.
Currently, it houses more than 500 specimens, and at the entrance, you can make a donation to immerse yourself in this peculiar world and learn more about the habitat and care required for these reptiles.
If you visit in the morning, you can help feed the iguanas, which are completely harmless and used to human contact.

Mirador “El Vigía” (Viewpoint)
This attraction is located at the top of one of the hills near the historic center of Manzanillo.

Orquideario Viveplants (Orchidarium)
It features over 100 different species of orchids. Known as the orchid paradise, it produces 7 out of every 10 orchids sold throughout the country.
It is an incomparable spectacle to see all kinds of orchids in various colors, including unique species resulting from multiple crosses aimed at improving this beautiful flower.

Pueblo Ecológico de Canoas (Ecological Village)

During your visit, you can also learn more about coffee cultivation and the production process. The local producers are very friendly and can tell you about the elaboration of this beverage.

Salinera de Venustiano Carranza (Saltworks)
Located in the Cuyutlán Lagoon. This salt is considered of very high quality and is used by the world's top chefs.
The salt is naturally obtained through the action of the sun and wind, which separate the salt, and then it is filtered to produce a series of salt mounds that are left to rest until the mineral crystallizes. This process results in fleur de sel, gourmet salt, and rock salt.
That's why when you visit Manzanillo, make sure to take a bag of this exquisite salt with you.
