This place holds a lot of the city's history.
It was built between 1926 and 1929 on a plot of land near a lagoon system to supply water to the companies that settled in Tampico during the peak years of oil exploitation.
It stands out for its architectural beauty, featuring a marked Art Deco style with attractive blue and yellow tiles. There is a plaque specifying that the most advanced technologies of that time were used in its construction.
This iconic building was given a second chance in 2006 when it was transformed into a space dedicated to environmental conservation and named Casa de la Naturaleza (House of Nature).
Currently, it is one of the most photographed places in Tampico, where visitors can also enjoy various outdoor activities.
