CAPITAL OF TAMAULIPAS AND REGIONAL CULTURAL CENTER

Capital of the state, it is a place that is known for promoting culture and also has a wide variety of activities to offer. On Hidalgo Street, one of its main avenues, you can find a wide variety of shops, while in Plaza de las Armas, you can enjoy its attractive fountains and beautiful cathedral.

Ciudad Victoria is an excellent destination to enjoy nature and engage in activities such as hunting, rock climbing, spelunking, and bird watching.

Since 2004, the city has been hosting the Festival of Birds, an event that promotes the appreciation of these beautiful animals at both the national and international levels. The city is also known as "The City of Birds" because it is home to more than 400 different species.

Additionally, it is located very close to the Biosphere Reserve of El Cielo.

It has a semi-hot and extreme climate with an average annual temperature above 18ºC, with rainfall in the summer.
