TOP SIGHTS IN NUEVO LAREDO
Antiguo Banco Longoria
Dating back to 1929, it was built by architect John M. Marriot.
Its facade is well-preserved, and it features bronze and glass windows with elements like eagles throughout the building.

Centro Cultural Nuevo Laredo
The Cultural Center offers various venues.
Among the different spaces, you can find the main theater where shows, dance recitals, and concerts take place, an experimental theater, the Museum of Natural History, the Reyes Meza Museum, as well as a restaurant, a café, temporary exhibition area, a library, a bookstore, a media center, and the Umán archaeological walkway.

Mercado Maclovio Herrera
This market was built in 1947. However, in 1980, there was an explosion of fireworks sold during the holiday season, which destroyed the original building.
In 1985, the current market was inaugurated with the name "Mercado de Reforma," although popular tradition continued to refer to it by its previous name, Maclovio Herrera. It has a rich tradition and offers crafts, traditional sweets, piñatas, jewelry, and a wide variety of typical Mexican items.

Museo de Historia Natural de Nuevo Laredo
The Museum of Natural History features four rooms that offer a chronological journey through the natural history of the region.
Here, you can walk through history, going back millions of years, and admire replicas of dinosaur skeletons.

Parque Arqueológico Umán (Archaeological Park)
It features over 40 replicas of archaeological figures. These figures represent the Aztec, Huastec, and Toltec cultures, providing insights into Mexico's pre-Hispanic period as you explore the park.
It is located in the Nuevo Laredo Cultural Center.

Parque Viveros
A family gathering point with playgrounds and benches. It was created to provide trees, plants, and ornamentation to Nuevo Laredo.
It is located 400 meters from the riverbank.

Reloj de la Plaza Hidalgo
The clock is placed in a tower covered with white quarry stone, approximately 15 meters high.
The tower includes the bell tower and has become one of the city's icons.

Teatro Principal Nuevo Laredo
An important venue that hosts theater plays, dance recitals, concerts, as well as international shows and events.
It was inaugurated in 2004 as part of the International Festival Tamaulipas with the Ballet de Cuba.
