It is an old sugarcane hacienda dating back to the early 17th century, founded by Juan de Noguera.

It is nestled in a beautiful natural setting and became one of the region's sugar mills.

This former hacienda has been transformed into an ecopark, a cultural center, and a museum where the pictorial works of Alejandro Rangel Hidalgo, an important artist from Colima who lived in this historic building, are exhibited.

When visiting the hacienda, in addition to appreciating the artwork, you can explore a dining room, a living room, the emblematic arches, a courtyard with colorful flowers, cacti, aquatic plants, and a pond with turtles.

The ecopark offers a wide variety of endemic vegetation that can be observed through its trails, including medicinal plants, fruit trees, and composting, among many other options.
