MAGICAL FISHING VILLAGE
Although it is called an island, it is more of a sandbar that separates the Gulf of Mexico from the Laguna de Términos. It offers kilometers of pristine beaches with shallow, deep green waters.
This small fishing village has a unique charm due to its natural beauty, combining different shades of blue sea and beautiful mangrove landscapes.
In the mornings, it is a popular spot for birds such as seagulls, frigates, and pelicans, among others. However, the biggest attraction is the playful dolphins.
At the end of the boardwalk, there is a pier that connects to Ciudad del Carmen.
It is located 40 km (45 minutes from Ciudad del Carmen) and 166 km (2 hours) from the city of Campeche.
