It is considered an ecological reserve.

This beach is one of the many places along the Pacific coastline and has become a turtle sanctuary for turtles such as Golfina, Carey, Prieta and Laúd.

Playa Ceuta

Ceuta Beach is 14 km long and since it is a lagoon complex it is also an area where you can find a large number of migratory birds.

It is surrounded by mangrove vegetation that is also home to a diverse fauna. Nearby in the town of Bella Vista you can see interesting petroglyphs.

This is an option to enjoy a boat tour and due to its strong waves it is also a good place for surfing.

You can also visit a small museum dedicated to turtles.

Playa Verde Camacho

You can also visit a small museum dedicated to turtles. The beach has more than 21 km of extension. To the west are marshes, estuaries and the mouth of the Quelite River with abundant mangrove vegetation. Olive ridley turtles arrive mainly on this beach.

It is also a place with an enormous variety of birds.

It is located in the municipality of Elota, an hour and a quarter from Mazatlán.

It is located near the town of Mármol, south of Mazatlán.
