AN ECOLOGICAL EXPERIENCE IN GUERRERO
This beautiful destination is located 280 km from Acapulco, 35 km north of Ixtapa and 25 minutes away from the international airport of Ixtapa - Zihuatanejo.
Troncones offers many kilometers of beautiful golden sand beaches, some of them are virgin and are excellent options to rest and observe unforgettable sunsets.
It has become a small coastal community with a bohemian and relaxed atmosphere that has gained fame among the surfing community for its excellent waves. The town is small and offers comfortable accommodations and all the necessary services.
This destination is also known for being the refuge of several species of sea turtles, which come to spawn in this beaches year after year.
It is an ideal place to practice water sports, however, caution is recommended since most of its beaches overlook the open sea. You can also enjoy abundant tide pools where you can relax and observe the wonderful scenery.
Troncones
THE TOP BEACHES IN TRONCONES
La Saladita
This place offers incredible endless left-hand waves.
Precisely because of the amount of waves it is known by the nickname “the wave machine.”
It is located about 20 minutes from Troncones.
The Ranch
Its big waves are said to be almost perfect.
This is why this beach is considered one of the best places to practice surfing in all of Mexico.
Troncones Point
Like all the beaches in this region it is an option for surfing.
However, due to the characteristics of the waves, this place is only suitable for the most experienced surfers.
La Boca
Its name is due to the fact that there is a river mouth.
It offers excellent waves, especially from November to March.
Horseback riding is also possible on this beach.
