This beach is popular with the locals, and is usally uncrowded.

Up at the far north end, nearing Playa Camaron, is where begining and intermediate surfers hang-out, especially in the area known as "Jacarandas" where the swells break gradually left, and those that like fishing will find that the rocks on the point provide good spots for casting. You can also play beach volleyball and soccer.

Norte Beach has a number of large, very beautiful lagoons. Enjoy the music of the mariachi, fresh seafood and ice cold drinks under the shade of a palapa.
