This place reflects the strong Franciscan evangelizing presence.
Mina has a beautiful natural landscape where springs surrounded by reeds and canes prevail.
Other interesting places you can visit are: the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the "San Francisco de Cañas" Hacienda, and, of course, its pleasant main square.
Here, you can find the fossilized remains of mammoth tusks at the "Bernabé de las Casas" Museum of Paleontology, Anthropology, and History. Its name pays tribute to one of the first settlers of Nuevo León, Don Bernabé de las Casas, who arrived in 1608. The museum also displays cave paintings, utensils used by the early inhabitants of the northern region of the country, plant fossils, mollusks, ammonites, among others.
You can also visit the Hacienda of San Antonio de Arista, also known as "Del Muerto," which is a ghost town filled with history and legends.
