WORLD CAPITAL OF NORTEÑA MUSIC
Its name honors General Manuel Mier y Terán, a hero of the National Independence. Located in the citrus region, it is an important orange producer, which gives the place a characteristic scent of this fruit and orange blossom, especially from September to October and from November to April.
It is a place where you can find various historical, cultural, and natural attractions.
Known as the "world capital of norteña music," it has numerous musical groups, including the renowned Alegres de Terán.
It is less than two hours from Monterrey.

This is one of the most prominent and oldest buildings in the town. Its construction dates back to 1785, featuring a semicircular arch and a three-level tower with a belfry and clock face.

The park offers pools, recreational areas, a wading pool, an open-air theater, playgrounds, pavilions, showers, and a sabino tree over 1,000 years old.
