This hacienda dates back to the Porfirian era.

This hacienda became the largest landholding in Morelos, with 64,486 hectares.

However, it is known as the place where Emiliano Zapata, the "Southern Caudillo," was assassinated on April 10, 1919.

It has now been converted into the Agrarianism Museum with a sober façade. At the entrance, there is an equestrian statue of the general of the Zapatista movement.
