TOP SIGHTS IN CUERNAVACA
Chapitel del Calvario
Located on one of the main avenues in the city of Cuernavaca. The chapitel is also known as Ermita or Humilladero because in the 16th century, pilgrims used to stop there.
This monument dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe was built in 1538 in a Plateresque style. Next to it stands the church of the same name.

Jardín Borda y Museo de Sitio (Garden and Site Museum)
Designed in 1763 under the orders of Manuel de la Borda.
In 1865, it served as the summer residence for Maximilian and Carlota.
This garden has exhibition rooms from the 16th to the 19th century and an open-air theater. It currently houses the Institute of Culture of Morelos.

Jardines de México (Gardens of Mexico)
It is one of the most beautiful places to visit and enjoy nature in the entire country.
You can walk amidst colorful landscapes formed by the world's largest contemplative floral gardens, covering an area of 51 hectares.
Within Jardines de México, you can find 7 themed gardens with 193 million flowers per year and over 22,000 introduced trees.
Location
Km. 129 of the Mexico-Acapulco Highway. It is located near Tequesquitengo, 32 minutes from Cuernavaca.
Plaza de Armas (Main Plaza)
Located in the heart of the city.
This historic site is comprised of Jardín Juárez, where you can admire a kiosk imported from England in 1890.
At the back of this square, you can see a statue of José María Morelos y Pavón, and next to it is the Palacio de Cortés.
