Among its attractions are "Las Trincheras," located next to the road to Chicxulub Pueblo, and the archaeological site of Namul. "Las Trincheras" date back to the 18th century and are stone constructions on top of walls used by the early settlers to protect themselves from pirate attacks during the colonial era.

The archaeological site of Namul, located five kilometers from the coastal road to Uyamitún, has five hills that appear to have been used by the Maya as a ceremonial center.

The beautiful beach with white sand and crystal-clear blue waters of Chicxulub is ideal for water sports.

It has small hotels, villas, several restaurants, and some nightclubs.
