Here is where the house where Emiliano Zapata was born and raised is located.

It is a modest house made of adobe and palm, of which only some ruins remain.

Around these ruins, a small museum was built where pre-Hispanic artifacts are exhibited, as well as objects from the haciendas and the Revolutionary era donated by the community.

It also features audiovisual and interactive media that tell the story of the town and the reasons that led these figures to the armed conflict. A mural depicting the Revolutionary War, with Zapata as the main character, stands out.

In the area, you can also contemplate some cave paintings in the Barranca La Cuera, also known as Paso del Diablo.
