The main beach in town, Puerto Angelito, is located in a small bay that is ideal for swimming. Local fishermen offer their boats for tours to the main beaches, as well as for deep-sea fishing a few miles offshore.

There are hotels, motels, lodges, and camping facilities, as well as restaurants and sports gear rental facilities, hammocks and palapas.

The beach is a good spot for snorkeling and scuba diving.

From here you can hire a boat to go on tours to observe the turtles or visit the Manialtepec Lagoon.
