It is located in the northern part of the state.

Sabinas Hidalgo has a beautiful San José Temple built in the 18th century, with a unique churrigueresque altarpiece in gold leaf.

Nearby, in Cerralvo, is the "El Sabinal" National Park, with large 500-year-old sabino trees, perfect for camping.

Sports fishing enthusiasts will find a true paradise at the El Cuchillo Dam, the largest reservoir for human consumption in Latin America, located in the municipality of China. This dam has become one of the best places for fishing bass.

You can also visit La Turbina Park, which features an artificial waterfall, children's playgrounds, camping areas, huts, barbecue areas, and an exciting 600-meter zip line.

Its name comes from the fact that in 1932, a building was constructed to house two turbines imported from Switzerland to provide electricity to the town.
