HUASCA DE OCAMPO

A very nice option is the Barranca de Aguacatitla in Huasca de Ocampo with an artificial lake where you can fish and take a boat ride. Additionally, you can enjoy exciting zip lines and practice swimming, hiking and rappelling.

Other options are the La Cruz dam in Huasca or the San Jerónimo dam in El Arenal where you also have the opportunity to catch delicious rainbow trout while taking a boat ride.

In the Laguna de Azteca, located almost three hours from Huasca de Ocampo, you can catch ferret, bass and carp.

MINERAL DEL CHICO

Just 20 minutes from Mineral del Chico is the El Cedral Dam located inside the beautiful El Chico National Park. In the dam you can catch delicious rainbow trout, or salmon trout. After fishing you can cook the trout by the lake.

MINERAL DEL MONTE

The Trout and Bass Forest in San Miguel Regla offers a beautiful landscape to enjoy fishing. The place has swimming pools and snacks. It is located half an hour from Mineral del Monte.

PACHUCA

Some of the best places to practice this sport are: Laguna de Meztitlán, where you can catch carp and mojarra and it is located just over two hours from Pachuca.

In the Chinameca, Cholocuato, and Miaxtla rivers you can catch rainbow trout.

ZIMAPÁN

This place has been considered the best place in the center of the country for bass fishing.
