Cerro Viejo

One of the highest mountains in the state is Cerro Viejo and it is a good challenge for mountaineers. The lowest point is located at 1,580 meters above sea level and the highest at 2,970 meters above sea level. The ascent can be made by the Las Crucecitas stream, by La Virgen Route, or by the “contrafuegos” path. The routes are excellent and have spectacular views. It is located an hour and a quarter from Guadalajara.

Cerro La Col

The highest elevation in the Municipality of Zapopan is Cerro La Col, with a height of 2,034 meters above sea level. It is an excellent option for those who like mountaineering and hiking and is located less than an hour from Zapopan.
