HUASCA DE OCAMPO

This dam is located near the Magic Town of Huasca de Ocampo. The ex-hacienda San Antonio Regla was submerged in order to built this dam.

Currently the dam has a depth of up to 15-meter (50 feet) and an extension of 4.5 km surrounded by a pleasant landscape of oyameles. From the old hacienda you can only see part of the chacuaco (chimney) and a protruding water tower.

Santa Elena Ranch

The ecotourism center offers a beautiful wooded landscape and several bodies of water where you can paddle.

You can also complement this experience by exploring the surroundings, either by walking or on a bike. If you like thrills there is a small zip line.

EcoAlberto Park

It is located in Ixmiquilpan and the park has several options. You can choose to paddle in calm and shallow parts of the park's Grand Canyon river, or opt for a 1.5 km ride that in its extreme version includes rapids and jumping in several waterfalls.

Parque Ecoturístico La Montaña Viviente

The park includes the Santa Ana Zacuala Dam located in Acaxochitlán. The park organize outdoor group lessons.
