Exploring canyons in mountains and rivers is very exciting, usually this activity combines climbing and rappelling.

CIUDAD VALLES

Cañón del Pinihuán (Lagunillas)

It is one of the best places to practice canyoning. It is located near Rioverde and is a paradisiacal place that combines a series of adventure activities, such as jumping from waterfalls, rappelling, climbing, hiking and camping.

In this adventure you have to visit Las Lagunitas, a triple waterfall where you can jump and La Lloviznosa, an incredible waterfall where the most expert can rappel. Located an hour and a half from Ciudad Valles.

Río Micos

There is another adventure that begins in the highest part of the Micos River and includes rappelling down a waterfall, hiking, since the route is done along the river, as well as some jumps to the water pools that are in the middle of exuberant vegetation. On the way is the Minas Viejas waterfall with a height of 60 m (197 ft), a real spectacle. Located half an hour from Ciudad Valles.

Río del Meco

Along the river you will be able to enjoy beautiful landscapes and the flora and fauna of the region. This adventure is especially fun since you can jump from springboards and at the tip of the Meco Waterfall you can have an unforgettable view. It is located almost two hours from Ciudad Valles.
