HUASCA DE OCAMPO
Aguacatitla Canyon
This place located in the vicinity of Huasca de Ocampo offers you an incredible tour where you can practice hiking, rappelling and swimming, while discovering beautiful landscapes of waterfalls, rock formations and cliffs in the middle of a wooded vegetation.
You can also see the ruins of the Coacoyunga Hydroelectric Power Plant, go through 5 tunnels and orchards.
For those who like emotions, the adventure also includes two zip lines. The first is very close to the entrance and crosses a spectacular canyon about 180-meter (590 feet) long at a height of 20-meter (65 feet); while the second crosses over an artificial lake and is 100-meter (328 feet) long.
In this artificial lake you can fish or enjoy boat rides.
MINERAL DEL CHICO
Cañón Paraíso Esconido
It is located in Mineral del Chico, it is a canyon with little flow with a length of 180- meter (590 feet). It offers three to six rappels, depending on the route you choose. The best season to visit it is from August to November.
El Milagro River
Another place very close to Mineral del Chico is the El Milagro River where you can also practice canyoning, as well as rappelling, hiking and enjoy nature.
PACHUCA
Cañón las 3 Maravillas
You can explore the Tres Maravillas Canyon, which is an adventure for those who like extreme sports and the tour lasts approximately 8 hours.
The route is full of jumps to pools of water from different heights ranging from 2- meter (6 feet) to 15- meter (49 feet), as well as rappelling in waterfalls and of course hiking.
