EL ORO

The wooded surroundings of pine, oak and ocote of this beautiful Magical Town are an excellent option for camping. Among the best options is the Brockman Dam, the El Camaleón Ecotourism Park and Terracota Tourist Complex.

MALINALCO

Hermenegildo Galeana Park

The Hermenegildo Galeana Park in Tenancingo covers 368 ha and is an excellent place to camp.

In their palapas you can have picnics. It also offers showers and grills, as well as children's games and a cabin with capacity for 20 people.

It is located 20 km away, approximately half an hour from Tenancingo and one hour from Malinalco.

TEPOTZOTLÁN

Ahuehuete Recreational Park in Lanzarote

With its colossal ahuehuetes (type of cypress tree), springs and a river, it offers beautiful areas for camping. Be amazed by the famous tree that is more than 800 years old, from whose roots a crystalline spring flows, exactly where the Lanzarote River begins.

It is located 16.6 km, approximately 40 minutes from Tepotzotlán.

It is the ideal place to enjoy various adventures, mountaineering and the possibility of camping in unique places and beautiful viewpoints that allow panoramic views of all the surroundings.

Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla National Park, La Marquesa

This park offers you a beautiful wooded landscape and has grills, tables and offers horseback riding.

TONATICO

Salto de Tzumpantitlán

This ecotourism park offers camping areas, grills, children's games, swimming pool and wading pools. The biggest attraction is the waterfall of more than 40-meter (131 feet) high.

VALLE DE BRAVO

The wooded surroundings of Valle de Bravo are the ideal landscape to enjoy this sport.

There is a camp called Lago y Tierra with a greenhouse growing a wide variety of plant species and a farm where you can learn about the care and breeding of some animals.

 

Corral de Piedra Ecotourism Park

It is located near Amanalco de Becerra and offers an incredible landscape with wooded vegetation and more than 400 springs and streams, a unique landscape. It is a cold area, so we recommend you bring the necessary clothes and accessories so that you can enjoy this adventure.

There are camping areas, a recreational lake and a restaurant.

This a reserve is also a sanctuary for the monarch butterfly from November to March. Fog forms in the morning because it is the coolest time of the day.

It is located 37 km, approximately an hour and a half from Valle de Bravo.

Sierra de Nanchititla State Park

The park comprises a wonderful natural environment with streams, waterfalls, mountains, cliffs and forests. It has a large number of palapas, cabins, a camping area and some viewpoints. 

If you like to explore the surroundigs you can go visit the largest waterfall in the State of Mexico with 105-meter (350 feet) high, known as El Salto.

It is located 41 km from Luvianos and 117 km from Valle de Bravo.

 

El Salto de Chihuahua

This beautiful waterfall of more than 50-meter (164 feet) high in the middle of exuberant vegetation is another beautiful wonder in the area. Here you will find an ecotourism park with grills, palapas, swimming pools and a camping area.

VILLA DEL CARBÓN

"El Ocotal" Park

The park is located in Atlacomulco and has that name due to the huge 35-meter (114 feet) ocotes (species of pine trees), although you will also find pines and oaks in this beautiful forest.

It is an ideal for camping in the middle of the forest and offers all the necessary services.

Additionally, you can enjoy horseback riding and boat rides in the lake.

It is located 40 km away, approximately one hour from Tenancingo and one hour from Villa del Carbón.
