Alameda Francisco de Paula Toro

The main park of Campeche, its construction was completed in the late 1540s and underwent remodeling in 1826, when it was named Plaza de la Independencia. It has undergone further modifications in the 1930s, 1960s, and 1980s.

In the center, there is a beautifully ornamented kiosk with natural vegetation.

Calle 59

Jardín Botánico Xmuch-Haltún

The name of this Botanical Garden means "Water that Springs from the Earth," and it is located in the Baluarte de Santiago, the last of the eight bulwarks built in the city.

The garden is a true oasis in the city center and features an interesting display of Campeche's flora, including a wide variety of plants, from the most common to the region's endemic species.

Teatro de la Ciudad "Francisco de Paula Toro"

The construction of this theater began in January 1832, concluding in August 1834, and inaugurated on September 15 of the same year.

The project was under the direction of the French architect Teodoro Journot, who designed a neoclassical-style building.

The building was restored and modified in 1914 and is currently the Teatro de la Ciudad (City Theater).
