Aramberri is a small town founded in 1626 by Fray Lorenzo de Cantú.
It is located in a valley that has become an agricultural area. It is surrounded by mountains, offering breathtaking landscapes, with Cerro del Morro standing out.
The highlight is the Temple of Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles de Río Blanco (Our Lady of the Angels of Río Blanco), named after the mission founded by the Jesuits in 1626. Inside, there is a beautiful image of the town's patron saint carved in wood.
You cannot miss "El Monstruo de Aramberri" (The Monster of Aramberri), a majestic life-size replica of the Pliosaur discovered in 1984 in the municipal seat, in a formation called La Casita. It is estimated to be between 150 and 155 million years old. It is located in the Pliosaur Plaza and measures 18 meters long.
You can also visit the La Playita Recreational Park, which features children's playgrounds, pools, huts, and barbecue areas. It is located on the banks of the Blanco River, where you can also go fishing.
Other attractions in Aramberri include the Los Cuatro Rivers and the El Morro Recreational Center, which has two dams, as well as facilities for enjoying a pleasant day in nature, such as barbecue areas, tables, and restrooms.
