Several condominiums and timeshare developments have been built in this area, including the new development of La Crucecita at the main entrance to the bay. A number of hotels and good restaurants have also been built to serve tourists in this area.

The beaches in this bay are:

Playa Chahué

A white sand beach with moderate waves.

Playa Esperanza

The waves are high and strong, but the water is shallow.

Playa Tejón

At Tejón Beach, the water is usually warm, and the waves are gentle.
