Playa El Órgano

In Organo beach there are a large number of rocks forming a long slope that ends at the bottom of sand. There are several cracks and holes home to a varied marine fauna.

Isla Cacaluta

The calm waters of Cacaluta Island are one of the best places to snorkel. This site is known as Jardines (Gardens) and its depth ranges from 2-meter (6 feet) to 12-meter (39 feet). The peculiar thing about the place is that there are a kind of rows of gas bubbles that come out from between the rocks and corals. This phenomenon attracts nurse sharks and turtles.

Playa El Indio

It is located in Chachacual and is an excellent option due to the amazing coral reef in the coast.

Los Morros de Maguey

It is one of the most pleasant places to snorkel. Here it is easy to find puffer fish, angel fish and butterfly fish, as well as seahorses, turtles and mollusks.

El Jicaral

It is located in San Agustín and is ideal for snorkeling and also for diving. There are several rocks where you can find rays and turtles. Also in San Agustín there is a place known as La Fiesta (The Party) located near the Island of San Agustín, with huge coral plates with brilliant colors. This place is the habitat of huge fish such as snapper and red snapper.

Playa el Violín

It is another excellent option where biodiversity and calm waters are the perfect combination for snorkeling.
