ATLIXCO
In the vicinity of Atlixco is the Sierra del Tentzo Protected Natural Area where you can take a walk until you reach a beautiful waterfall with turquoise waters and cool off in its pool.
CUETZALAN
In the surroundings of Cuetzalan you can take “water hikes”, in this tours you can visit several beautiful waterfalls where you can swim. The El Salto Waterfall, the Las Brisas Waterfall, with a concrete walkway, and the Las Hamacas Waterfall, a waterfall with three falls and a beautiful pool.
There are walks from Cuetzalan to Jonotla where, in addition to enjoying incomparable natural landscapes, you can visit small communities that have managed to preserve their ancestral traditions. You will pass through the incredible San Miguel Bridge and cross the secret pools of Tozán.
PUEBLA
Puente de Dios (God's bridge)
It is a place where the rocks and the river offer a natural wonder where you can swim, camp and explore. It is located an hour and a half from the city of Puebla.
TETELA DE OCAMPO
Aconoco
This is a unique place to visit and has two beautiful waterfalls, one 35 m (115 ft) high and the second 90 m (295 ft). You have to take a walk to reach the majestic waterfalls in the middle of incredible landscapes where you can see a great variety of multicolored birds. Between both waterfalls you walk through the "Balcón de los Zopilotes" where dozens of these birds perch every morning. Located in the Sierra Norte de Puebla in the community of Xaltatempa de Lucas, 40 minutes from Tetela de Ocampo.

TEZIUTLÁN
Cerro de Chignautla
Explore the hill and discover viewpoints, rocks and caves. At the top there are two monuments, one to Christ the King and the other to the Virgin of Guadalupe.
Another option in the area is Cerro de Tezompa, which has wide paths to climb to the top and also several viewpoints with staggering views. It is located just 10 minutes from Teziutlán.
Not far from Chignautla there are also two very peculiar places that can be explored, the Xalapazco Crater and the Humeros, where you can enjoy a steam bath.
TLATLAUQUITEPEC
It is a beautiful natural setting with a waterfall almost 80 m (262 ft) high. You have to take a route through steep paths in the middle of lush vegetation to get to the viewpoint and contemplate the waterfall in all its splendor. Along the way you will observe hundreds of birds, badgers and armadillos, among many others. At the end of the walk you can cool off in the beautiful pool. Located 7 km from Tlatlauquitepec
ZACAPOAXTLA
For those who like waterfalls, the surroundings of Zacapoaxtla offer a magnificent opportunity to enjoy nature and discover two splendid waterfalls: La Gloria and Velo de Novia (Bridal Veil Waterfall).
Rancho San Gabriel
The ranch has a wooded trail with several viewpoints and specialized guides will give an interpretive tour. There is another route that leads to the Ahuacatlán river and El Salto waterfall. Located 35 minutes from Zacapoaxtla.
ZACATLÁN
Valle de Piedras Encimadas
Most of the Valle is open grassy meadow, dotted with rock formations that nature has sculpted over more than 65 million years. There are guides that can take you along the trails so that you can appreciate the seated elephant, the virgin, the seal, the dove, the loving mother and the cradle, among many others. It is located an hour and a half from Zacatlán.
Centro Recreativo Tulimán
The center offers beautiful wooded landscapes including a spectacular waterfall 300 m (984 ft) high. It is also an ideal place for camping, archery, climbing the huge trees and enjoying the thrill of a zip line. Located 25 minutes from the Magical Town of Zacatlán.
