The outskirts of the city offer beautiful landscapes including coffee plantations.

One option is the Parque Tacaná Extremo, which has walls and mountainous rocks.

Another possibility is the La Changa Ecotourism Park, ideal for rappeling, or in the Poza Galana where you can rappel in its limestone walls.

TUXTLA GUTIÉRREZ

La Sima de las Cotorras

It is a imestone pit 140-meter (460 feet) deep with a forest at the bottom inhabitated by hunderds green parrots. This natural beauty is ideal for rappelling and the adventure includes the exploration of the cave paintings.
