Santuario Bosque Esmeralda (Sanctuary)

A place full of oaks and pines, an ideal firefly habitat. They appear just after the rain when there is low wind, high humidity and the temperature is nice and warm. The local guides will introduce you to viewing spots after 8:30 p.m.

There are cabins and you can also enjoy other activities such as hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and zip lining.

It is located on Camino Cuiloxotitla in the Ejido Emiliano Zapata, near Amecameca, one hour from Tepotzotlán and one and a half hours from Mexico City.

Sierra de Tepotzotlán State Park
